EVERYTHING BEGINS AT THE KITCHEN TABLE
Cone 5, Porcelain, Gold Luster, Underglaze Pencil, Underglaze, Glaze
Each mug is hand-built and one-of-a-kind, pinched thoughtfully and securely. Food and dishwasher safe, but I would recommend lovingly hand-washing it while listening to Julia Jacklin on the way to the cabin. This mug holds about 10 ounces of aeropress coffee, port, or tulsi.
Everything begins and ends at the kitchen table. All I want to do is make sure you’re well fed, watch you try the first strawberries of the season, and remember us this way– early June and we are watching dust in the air inside of a sunbeam while we wait for rye bread to finish warming in the oven. Setting the table. Lighting the candles. Freshly laundered linens. These fragments are everything to me. Food as connection to place. Shared abundance. Telling time by what is in season and what is not.
